How to Add or Update Business Information

When you first create an account on OpenSolar, setting up your business branding is one of the most important first steps. Adding your logo, business information, and branding colors helps personalize your proposals and ensures your brand is front and center for customers.

This guide walks you through how to upload or edit your business name, branding details, and company logo in just a few clicks.

Updating business information:

• Log in to your OpenSolar account.

• Click on the Control Zone (top-left corner of the app).

• Navigate to Company > Business Info.

In the Business Info section, you can:

• Add or update your business name

• Enter your company’s contact and descriptive details

• Choose a highlight color that will be used in your online proposals for consistent branding

Add Company Description & Image:

In the About section:

• Write a short description of your company to appear on customer-facing documents

• Upload a header image (such as a branded banner or photo) by clicking the image icon

This section helps establish credibility and tell your story within the proposal experience.

Upload Your Company Logo:

In the Logo section:

• Click or drag your logo file into the upload box

• Use high-resolution PNG or JPG formats for best quality

• The logo will appear in the header of your proposals and across the platform

Once all information is entered:

• Click the Save button at the bottom

• You’ll be automatically returned to the Control Zone, and your changes will be applied across the app
