Summary
PROfile is your personalised, OpenSolar-hosted webpage designed to help you generate high-quality leads with minimal effort. It acts as a simple, professional online presence for your business—showcasing your services, credibility, and expertise—while capturing leads directly into your OpenSolar project list. With built-in automation and flexible customisation, PROfile makes it easy to start generating new opportunities quickly.
How to Get Started
Account admins can view and edit your PROfile.
To access the PROfile editor:
Control → Company → PROfile
When you first open the editor, your PROfile will be automatically populated using your existing company data to help you get set up quickly. This includes:
- Company logo
- Colour theme
- Contact details
- About Us content
- Equipment brands (from your active components)
- Payment options
- Team members (if images are available)
Setting Up Your PROfile
While your PROfile is pre-populated, you have full flexibility to customise it to match your brand and messaging.
Customising Your Page
Using the left-hand menu, you can:
- Update your colour theme using a HEX selector
- Toggle sections on or off
- Rearrange sections by dragging them into your preferred order
Lead Capture Options
You can choose how you capture leads:
Manual Lead Form
A simple, ready-to-use form capturing name, email, phone number, address, and service interest.
→ Requires you to assign a team member to receive incoming leads
AI Lead Form (see this article for how to set it up)
Embed an AI-powered lead capture experience.
→ Requires an existing AI lead form created in:
Control → Other → Lead Capture
→ Once created, simply select it from your account to embed it into your PROfile
Publishing Your PROfile
Use the “Publish PROfile” toggle to make your page live.
A public URL will be generated automatically using your business name, for example:
https://app.opensolar.com/profile/downundersolarpower
You can edit the URL slug to better suit your brand or campaign needs.
At any time, you can switch off the “Publish PROfile” toggle to unpublish your page. This will deactivate the page and remove it from public access.
