Creating and Sharing Proposal Links in OpenSolar

You can now generate and share online proposal links directly from OpenSolar, simplifying how you present solar designs and pricing to your customers.

How to Enable Shareable Proposal Links

1. Go to:
   Project > Online Proposal

2. Click Send Proposal to Customer

3. Toggle on "Enable Sharing" to generate a unique shareable link

4. Click Copy to copy the link and share it via email, SMS, or any other platform

The customer will be able to view the proposal online without needing to log in.

Managing Customer Access to Shareable Links

You can enable, disable, or delete access for customers who have received shareable proposal links.

Steps to Manage Access

1. Navigate to:
   Control > Customers > Proposal Viewers

2. In the Proposal Viewers section:

   • Use the toggle next to each customer to Enable or Disable their access

   • Click Delete to remove a customer entirely from the access list

This ensures you retain full control over who can view your proposals and revoke access at any time.
