Scroll proposals (previously Classic Proposals) now include a more visual editing experience with a live preview panel. You can configure proposal settings, update proposal sections, and instantly preview how the proposal will appear to customers — all from a single screen.
This streamlined workflow makes it easier to customise proposals without switching between multiple pages.

If no project is selected, the preview will remain in placeholder mode.
Step 2: Define Template
Configure the template details including:
- Template title
- Default template toggle
- Archived status
- Description
These settings help organise proposal templates across your organisation.
Step 3: Edit Template
Use the expandable sections to customise proposal content and settings.
Available sections include:
- Proposal Settings
- PDF Content
- Cover Page Template
- Standard Page Template
- Proposal Content
- Advanced Settings
Changes made here affect the live preview panel.
Using the Live Preview
The preview panel displays how the proposal will appear to customers.
As you make updates in the sidebar, the proposal preview helps you:
- review layout changes
- validate proposal structure
- confirm customer-facing content
- check proposal flow before saving
This creates a more visual and efficient editing experience.
Refreshing the Preview
Some changes require the proposal preview to reload before updates can be displayed.
When this happens, a Refresh button will appear inside the preview panel.
To refresh the proposal preview:
- Make your changes in the sidebar
- Click the Refresh button when it appears
- The preview will reload with the latest updates
Common examples include:
- updating proposal settings
- enabling or disabling sections
- changing template configurations
- modifying proposal structure or content
Full Screen Preview
Click the Full Screen button in the top-right corner of the preview panel to expand the proposal preview.
Saving Changes
Once you finish editing:
- Review the proposal in the preview panel
- Click Save in the bottom-right corner
Your updates will then be applied to the proposal template.
Tips 💡
- Select a representative project for more accurate previews
- Use the live preview to validate proposal flow before saving
- Refresh the preview if updates are not immediately visible
- Review both online and PDF-related sections when applicable in the project

Important Notes

- Changes are not applied until the template is saved
