Summary:
OpenSolar lets you create multiple system designs and pricing scenarios for flexibility. However, showing all options in the proposal might confuse or overwhelm your customer. Instead of deleting unused options, you can choose to display only one selected system and/or pricing option in the final PDF.
How to Show Only a Selected Option in the PDF Proposal:
Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Control zone of the app.
From the left-hand sidebar, go to:
Purchase Experience > Proposal TemplateClick Edit on the proposal template you’re using.
Expand the Proposal Settings section.
Scroll down to PDF Content.
Choosing What Appears in the PDF:
Under PDF Content, you'll find display settings for both system options and payment options. Each will offer two choices:
All: Includes all system or pricing options in the PDF.
Selected: Includes only the highlighted (selected) system or pricing option from the project.
Example:
If you've selected the 20 Panel + Battery system and a Cash Payment option, and you’ve chosen “Selected” for both in the settings, only these two will appear on the PDF proposal.
Flexible Combinations:
You can mix and match how options appear in your proposal:
Show one system option with all payment options
Show all system options with one payment option
Or show only one system and one payment option
This flexibility allows you to tailor the proposal exactly to the customer's needs—without deleting your other configurations.
Tip:
To ensure the correct options are displayed, make sure the desired system and/or pricing option is actively selected (highlighted) in the project Design tab before downloading the proposal.
