Summary:
You can export your invoice and customer data from the CashFlow Payment Requests tab into a generic CSV format. This allows you to transfer your financial data into your preferred third-party accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB) for further processing and reconciliation.
This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to perform the export, along with details on the file format and the specific data points included.

How to Export Payment Requests:
- Navigate to the CashFlow page via the top navigation bar, then click into the Payment Requests tab.
- On the far right side, just above the payment requests table, you will see an option to Export to CSV. Click this button to open the export dialog.
- The "Export Invoice Data" dialog allows you to choose which data sets you wish to download. You can select one or both of the following options:
Invoice data: Details regarding specific payment requests, amounts, and statuses.
Customer data: Contact details and address information for the clients associated with the invoices.
Once you have made your selection, click Export. The file will be prepared and automatically downloaded to your device.
Export File Format and Compatibility:
The file format for exports is currently generic and not specific to any single accounting platform. While it is designed to be compatible with major providers, you may need to perform some reformatting to match your specific software's import requirements.
Important note: There are certain data points that are not currently captured in the automated export. Specifically, Account Codes or Ledger Account Names are not included. You will need to manually enter these details for each line item in the spreadsheet before importing the file into your accounting software to ensure it maps correctly to your general ledger.
