Why use Accounting Connectors?
Integrating OpenSolar CashFlow with your accounting software offers significant advantages for managing your business finances. By automating the flow of data, you eliminate the manual data entry required to record invoices and payments in your accounting system after processing them in OpenSolar.
Available Connectors
We have transitioned to direct, in-house Connectors to provide better reliability, faster performance, and more control over your data.

Xero: Live. We offer a direct connector with Xero. You can connect your account, map your general ledger codes instantly, and sync invoices and payments immediately.

What's new?
Instant Setup: Ledger accounts load immediately after connection, allowing you to complete setup in one session.
Historical Sync: You can now manually push invoices to Xero that were sent before you connected the integration.
Granular Mapping: Map different line item types (like incentives and discounts) to specific ledger accounts.
Retry Capability: If an invoice fails to sync due to configuration errors, you can fix the settings and retry immediately.
Get a daily recap of invoice sync failures: A daily check for failed invoice syncs. If your account experiences that you will receive an email listing invoices that failed to sync because of missing or invalid ledger or tax settings. It gives you a clearer prompt to fix accounting setup issues and keep invoices syncing.
Accounting Connector Pricing
To ensure long-term sustainability and high-level support of our premium automation services, Accounting Connectors are moving to a dedicated flat monthly subscription model.
- Pricing: $49 USD / $69 AUD / £49 GBP per month (flat monthly subscription).
- Unlimited Sync: Full access to Xero or QuickBooks Connector.
- API Quota Exemption: Data volume from this connector does not count toward standard API project fees.
- Standard Trial: Enjoy your first month free. Billing commences on the 1st of the month following your trial expiration.
How Billing Works
The setup process is simple and integrated directly into your workflow:
- Enable Connector: Navigate to the accounting setup section and agree to the pricing terms.
- Connect: Sign into your Xero or QuickBooks account to establish the connection.
- Invoicing: You will receive your first invoice at the beginning of your first paid billing month.
