How to Duplicate and Delete Projects

Duplicating a Project

This feature is particularly helpful for:

• Sending proposals to multiple property owners at the same site (e.g., duplexes, commercial buildings)

• Running what-if scenarios by changing tariff, load profiles, or system sizes

• Preserving a baseline while creating customized versions for comparison

How to Duplicate a Project

1. Go to the Manage tab of the project.

2. In the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu (⋮).

3. Select Duplicate Project from the dropdown.

4. A confirmation pop-up will appear—choose whether to load the duplicated project immediately.

5. Once loaded, make the desired changes and save.

Notes:

• Both original and duplicated projects appear in the Projects list.

• In the Manage section, a project history event will log the duplication action.

• The following items will not be duplicated:

  • Project history events

  • Project management actions

  • Planned activities/events in calendar

  • Project files

  • Transactions

Deleting a Project

Warning: This action is irreversible.

 How to Delete a Project

1. Open the project’s Manage tab.

2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

3. Select Delete Project from the dropdown.

Once deleted, the project and all its contents will be permanently removed.

Duplicating a Design

Duplicating a design allows you to:

• Quickly test and compare multiple design options

• Modify an existing layout without affecting the original

• Preserve baseline designs for version control

How to Duplicate a Design

1. Navigate to the Design tab of your project.

2. Select the design option you want to duplicate.

3. Click Add New System.

4. Select Duplicate System.

You can now edit and save the duplicated design independently of the original.

Deleting a Design

Warning: This action is irreversible.

How to Delete a Design

1. Go to the project’s Design tab.

2. Select the design option you wish to delete.

3. Open the Summary tab.

4. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete System.

Once confirmed, the design option will be permanently removed from the project.
