If you’re offering EnFin products to your customers, you can save yourself time and hassle, and give your customers a radically streamlined experience by leveraging the EnFin integration on OpenSolar. Your homeowner can complete the application and have a credit decision in under a minute.

- Allows your customers to prequalify and apply for a loan from OpenSolar's online proposal, with no need to jump to other windows or applications
- Presentation of loan products in EnFin approved language
- OpenSolar will automatically pass all customer and project information over to EnFin, eliminating the time, effort and potential for error associated with repeat data entry

If you're using the EnFin integration...
If you are using the EnFin integration, there are a couple idiosyncrasies you should be aware of:
- The EnFin API only accepts ROUND dollar amounts, so any contract values including cents that are sent via the integration will be truncated to a dollar amount. For this reason, by default we will round your prices up to the next round dollar amount when you add an EnFin payment option to your proposal. If you would like to round down, or to the nearest round dollar amount, you can select that preference by a setting that can be found under CONTROL > COMPANY > SETTINGS > GENERAL SETTINGS > System Price Rounding Preference
- EnFin payment options are always calculated with a prepayment value equal to 30% of the LOAN AMOUNT (not the TOTAL SYSTEM PRICE). This will not impact the value calculated for the ITC or other incentives, however the EnFin integration enforces a capped prepayment amount. Because of this prepayment cap, if your proposal features an EnFin payment option proposed on the same system as another payment option without a prepayment cap, the prepayment amounts may differ if there are conditions that cause a prepayment higher or lower than 30% of the LOAN AMOUNT. Two examples of this are a down payment/deposit reducing the loan amount and upfront incentives marked for use in loan prepayment increasing prepayment where there is no cap.
As a reminder, there are no additional fees to use the EnFin Integration on OpenSolar.
