How to enable the IronRidge integration:
To enable your Ironridge integration go to the Projects section, select a project, and go to Design. Once in Design, choose a system option and go to Others for other components. From here, you will be able to click a button to connect your IronRidge Design Assistant account or generate your Bill of Materials (BOM) once the integration is activated.
After clicking on the IronRidge Bill of Materials button, you will be prompted to connect your IronRidge DA (Design Assistant) Account. If you do not have one, you can click on "I don't have an IronRidge account" to create one.
Once you've logged into or created your IronRidge DA (Design Assistant) Account, you will see a Partner Permissions field. This will be on your IronRidge Design Assistant home page when you first create your account/login or in the Account Information section. Please click "Yes", as shown below, to enable the IronRidge integration on OpenSolar.
Generating an IronRidge Bill of Materials (BOM):
Once you've created and connected your IronRidge DA (Design Assistant) Account, you will be prompted to enter the roof and structural information for the property. Once complete, click on the Get Bill Of Materials button to import the BOM into OpenSolar.
IronRidge will return a full list of recommended hardware along with pricing. If you have previously generated a BOM for this project, you will see both the Old and New Quantities and Costs. When you hit "Save Changes", each of the components will be added to your project in the quantities specified.
If you need to change your design or update your BOM, simply click the IronRidge Bill of Materials button. This will bring up a pre-filled pop up window that will allow you to re-generate your BOM.
Downloading your IronRidge Bill of Materials (BOM):
You can download your IronRidge Bill of Materials (BOM) as a PDF or CSV file to order easily from your distribution partner. Go to the Projects section and select your project, then go to the Info or Manage page. In the upper right hand corner of either page, click on the IronRidge Download BOM button.
You will then see a pop-up window where you can choose a system option and download the BOM as a CSV or PDF.
Including IronRidge products in your OpenSolar Proposal:
When you add IronRidge products to your project via the integration, high-quality collateral will be added to your proposal, to help you more effectively convey the value of this hardware to your customer. Just go to Online Proposal and you will then see the products under System Hardware.
