This table summarises which mounting options are available for UK projects in OpenSolar Design, and which project roof types each option supports.
Use it when you are on the Mounting tab: first choose the mounting system type (On-Roof, In-Roof, Flat-Roof, or Ground), then set the project roof type. The table shows which manufacturer systems can be selected for that combination. Where Plain flat / pantile applies, you must also choose the tile profile for tile clay or tile concrete roofs so the correct roof hooks are used.
Compatibility here is what OpenSolar enforces in the product. Some options (for example Renusol Configurator and Viridian) are not limited to a fixed roof-type list in OpenSolar as compatibility is determined in the manufacturer tool or by other design rules. Slope, panel size, and account features may still affect whether a system can be used or a bill of materials generated.
