Summary

The AGL Battery Rewards Plan is an energy plan designed for customers with home battery systems in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia. It allows eligible customers to earn rewards by exporting stored energy back to the grid during peak demand periods.

By activating this plan in your project, you can include it directly in your proposal, helping customers understand potential savings of up to $600 per year. How to Add the AGL Battery Rewards Plan:

1. Go to the Energy tab within your project and scroll down to the Electricity Rate section.

   

    

2. Next to Proposed Rate, click Change Tariff.

   

    

3. In the tariff search bar, type AGL BRP and select the appropriate tariff for the correct DNSP. Choose Single Rate or TOU.

   Tip: For the showcase content to be applied, ensure the correct DNSP is selected. You can enter the DNSP name in the search bar to narrow the results.

   

    

4. Click Apply Tariff.

5. In the Design tab, under Battery, add a battery.
   Select Maximize Savings under Battery Control Scheme.

   

What Happens Next?

Once applied:

  ✔️   The AGL Battery Rewards Plan details will automatically appear in the proposal.

  ✔️   System savings will be calculated based on the selected AGL BRP tariff structure.

This ensures customers can clearly see how the plan enhances battery performance and financial returns.
