Design Problems

I am trying to do a design for a commercial building. I have two problems:

1. When I capture the building and put it in the middle of the orange box, the image becomes too big when computed to the extent that all of the building is not visible - the edges are missing. I have tried many times.

2.  Trying to orientate the building is problematic; it seems the image can only be rotated by 90 degrees - is this so, or am I missing something?
