    Hi Nathan,

Thanks for writing in! I have not heard this request before, but I would be happy to look into this and confer with my team mates to see if the settings can be tweaked to achieve the calculations that you are looking for. I will get back to you on this.

Otherwise I would be very curious to hear if others have had a similar issue and if they have any ideas.

    Kind regards,

    Dion

    Thank you Dion

If it helps the Grant money is a percentage (40%) off of the GST inclusive price of $16813.5

I have created a priced based incentive to installer but just need it to be able to do the 40% calculation on the GST inc fiqure and take the additional Grant money after the GST is added and not before.

    Hi Grant,

I just wanted to give you an update on this.

After conferring with my team mates I have found that the reason why this would not be applying correctly is due to how the tax is currently treated for price based incentives. I will log this with the development team.

However, there is a workaround which I wanted to share so that you are able to model this grant in OpenSolar. The workaround is to manually add in the 40% grant exclusive of GST in the Studio zone in the incentives section:

After adding the grant this way you will be able to see the quotation table gives you the final amount as follows:

So the Purchase price is shown ex GST but when the GST is added you can see it is agreeing with the calculations that you gave earlier.

I hope this is helpful to let you utilise OpenSolar and sell more solar.

    Kind regards,

    Dion
