Every proposal includes a “Quotation Table” - a table that shows the key financial terms of your proposal - at the bottom of the proposal and then again when a prospect clicks “Accept Proposal” and reviews your contract.
OpenSolar allows you to customize this table so you can present those key financial terms in the way that works best for your sales process.
You can customize a different quotation table for each payment option on the Payment Option page in control. Click on the edit button next to the payment option you wish to customise.
Once on that page you will see a toggle bar that you can enable.
Each payment option will have a default quotation table where you can edit:
- Which figures will be included in the quotation table (a blue check mark appears if it is included)
- In what sequence they will be included (use the arrows to adjust the order in which items appear)
When you select the customise button to the right of each item, you are able to control:
- Whether to highlight this item
- What each figure will be called in the quotation table (e.g. is it “Net System Price” or “System Cost After Incentives” or something else altogether)
- What appears if a user clicks for an explainer on any figure.
Additionally, you also have the ability to add payment option-specific terms to your standard contract by filling out the “Supplementary Terms and Conditions” at the bottom of each Payment Option page. These additional terms will appear immediately after your standard contract anywhere it is displayed.
Definitions for all of the terms you see as options in the Quotation Table (for all payment types) are listed here:
