Duplicate Projects on OpenSolar

This long-awaited feature is finally here to help professionals save time when duplicating projects.  Whether you’re looking to quickly experiment with different designs, easily generate separate projects for solar-only and solar + storage proposals, or compare savings values for a given site, the duplicate projects functionality is sure to free up precious time for you and your team.

🇸🇪 Green Technology Incentive for Swedish Projects

Swedish professionals can now easily apply the Green Technology (grön teknik) incentive accurately to their projects with just a few clicks. This government rebate is designed to reduce the cost of solar PV, battery, and EV charger systems based on the number of households in a given project.

🇬🇧 Clenergy Mounting Improvements (UK only) 

• Wood screws are now specced alongside Clenergy roof hooks to ensure the BOM is accurate for those purchasing through Segen, where roof hooks and screws are sold separately.
• Alternative Clenergy roof hooks have been added as an option, including ER-I-PRO-01A, ER-I-PRO-01A-LS, ER-I-PRO-02, ER-I-PRO-04, and ER-I-PRO-07.

🇬🇧 Racking Mounting Improvements (UK only) 

We have made a few improvements to our native mounting tooling, which changes how our racking designs work. The changes provide more transparency and flexibility in how designs are calculated and the resulting BOM.

• We have now provided the Pro with the ability to specify roof hook spacing (defaulted to 800mm) instead of automating the spacing to equal the panel width. This means Pros can enter the specific spacing required by the roof substructure and generate a more accurate BOM.
• We still use MCS wind loading calculations to ensure the quantity of roof hooks is sufficient, but the result of the calculations is now displayed clearly in an alert message on the mounting tab.
• Where possible, Pros can now specify rail direction, regardless of panel orientation.

Finance Updates 

• Fixed an issue where refreshing integrated payment options would result in an error if large lists of products were being imported.

Others

• Add the "DNI" field for team members in Spain.
• Added placeholders for DC/AC ratio and inverter-rated output voltage.
• Removed MCS Specific fields from the Site Details panel.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the issue where default wall and roof type in Summary> Advanced Settings was not working
• Fixed the issue where S440 Optimiser added a random datasheet to the PDF proposal.
• Fixed the issue where projects were crashing and throwing “something went wrong errors.
• Fixed the issue where MCS weight loading (trada) was not calculating.
• Fixed the issue where pros were not able to click "save & generate" on structural assessment
• Fixed the issue where the label or URL in the Exhibitor Component Content for the Module was not reflecting in the Design Page.
• Fixed the issue where the "0" character was showing when selecting DC-connected batteries.
