Hello, my name is Chris, one of the prior experience specialists here at OpenSolar. And in this short video, we're going to do a complex multi-layer roof. As you can see here, I've got my property in the center of the screen. What I need to do is come up to the design mode and swap it over to manual. And select Google Ground Imagery. So now I've got my image here, a bit more zoomed in. What I can do is come up to the advanced menu. And the first part of the roof I can see is a, E-frame here. So I'm just going to get my A-frame. And drag it out like that. Then I've got another A-frame this way. So what I'm going to do is grab my A-frame. What I'm going to do is I'm going to drag it out to the far point. So this is now giving me the basic view of the property. We've got another A-frame here. So this is now giving So what I'm going to do again is select A-frame and drag this in. It's okay to go inside the building. What we're doing is we're just trying to get the basic shape for the moment and then we can make adjustments once we've got it all built. So this roof here does extend a little bit further down here. So what I'll need to do is come up here and grab another A-frame roof. What I want to do is just drag it across and then back in. So what I need to do now is come in to the tool, select my roof, and then I can use the up and down to drag it down so that it sits exactly where I need it to be. Which is just about. There. If I come from the side, you can see it's just on that roof. That will just give you the ability for perfect roof pitch. You can also do this by adjusting the height here. To get it exact, this property also from the front has a flat roof here. So to do that, I'll come up here and select shed and I will just put down my shed roof. And because I know the shed roof's height, what I can do is I can come into the design tool, drag it around and then lower it to suit from the measurements I've. Got from site. This property also has two chimneys. To do that, select shed. Drop your shed down. And the quickest way is to use the story tool to get it up to the height. Of course, going off site photos and the measurements, you can just drag it to suit where you need So, I know from site, this generally sits about there. There is also a dormer stuck out the front of this property as well. So, what I'm going to do is come up here, go. It's a dormer and it's an A-frame dormer. Place it down and drag it out. So, we've now got our property with multi, multiple roofs. I've set out so now I can add my panels. Thank you for watching and hope you have a sunny day.
