Finance QR code in proposal PDF

OpenSolar has the ability for your customers to easily apply for financing by scanning a QR code in the Proposal PDF sent to them. In addition to making financing on OpenSolar faster and simpler, it allows you to monitor the customer's interest in financing through real-time notifications and monitor their application status directly on OpenSolar. 

This functionality is automatically enabled for you and your customer. You'll need to ensure your proposal share-ability functionality is on: 

1. Enable it by default for all projects: Go to Control> Company> Settings> General Preferences > Toggle on "Auto enable proposal shareability"

2. To enable it on per project basis: Go to Project > Info > Share Proposal > Enable "Enable Sharing"

You can choose to disable the QR code in the Proposal Template

In Control > Purchase Experience > Proposal Template > Edit specific template > PDF Content you can:

• Toggle on/off "Add QR Code to access Online Proposal"
• Toggle on/off "Add QR Code to access finance application form"

As a default, these are toggled "on". 

You can also include Cover Page content surrounding the QR code and how your customer can access the soft credit check.
