Activating REC components (and how to activate Partner Data Sharing with REC)

Adding Showcase Content

Go to the design section of your project and click on the yellow 'Add Panels' button to begin:

You may be prompted to select a module type. You may do this by clicking the selection pane:

Select the drop-down and search for the item you want to use by either the manufacturer name or the item code. Click on the "Select" button to activate this component in your organization:

A message will show on the top of the screen letting you know the component has been activated

The online proposal will now show all the showcase information:

How to activate Partner Data Sharing with REC

Use this Registration Link to create a new OpenSolar account and provide data consent during registration.

If you have an existing OpenSolar account, and would like to provide data consent, follow these steps:

1. Log into your OpenSolar account https://app.opensolar.com/#/login

2. Navigate to Control > Company > Settings > Manage Partner Content > click Manage Partner Data Sharing

3. Enter code “rec-group”, check the box to authorize data sharing, and click submit.

Upon hitting the 'submit' button, this should conclude your setup of data sharing with REC as a partner.
