Solar Outlet is a complete online solar wholesaler in Australia and OpenSolar allows you to quickly create a checkout request for your components directly in Solar Outlet.
Note: This feature requires you to be a member of Solar Outlet.
If Solar Outlet purchasing is enabled in your account, once a system is sold, you will see
button in the Project page. This button will by default take all the components used in the project and add them to your OpenSolar cart. You can continue to automatically add components used in different project (with solar systems) by clicking the button on each project. The OpenSolar cart would also show whether the components are available in Solar Outlet or not.
Note: After closing the popup, you can reopen the cart by clicking thebutton on the top right corner of the header.
How to link your components?
If you are aware that a component is available on Solar Outlet but the OpenSolar cart does not link it (Not found on Solar Outlet), this could be due to mismatch in SKU. OpenSolar by default matches the component code with the product SKU on Solar Outlet. In case this doesn't match, the component will not be linked to Solar Outlet. You can properly link the component by providing it an SKU in the component activation page in the Control section. Alternatively, if is an "Other Component", you can ensure proper link by making the component code same as the product SKU on Solar Outlet.
Note: You will have to reselect the updated components in Studio and clear your previous order by clicking thebutton and then creating a new order.
How to add more components to your cart?
You can click thebutton in the bottom left corner of the cart to search for all components available on SolarOutlet and add them to your cart.
Once you have finalised on the components you want to purchase click thebutton. If you are logged in, this will take you directly to the Solar Outlet cart and include all the components in stock.
How to view details of previous orders on SolarOutlet through OpenSolar?
After clickingbutton, OpenSolar saves the details of the checkout and shows them in the project page.
