🎥 3D Designing (OpenSolar 1.0)

Now that you've seen the standard design process from start to finish you may be curious to learn more about the other capabilities of the OpenSolar software.

Please watch the following video for a step-by-step guide on how to design 3D models using oblique map views and see how to design when map imagery is not available.

Note: This design uses the address '27 Somerset Street, Mosman, NSW, Australia' which has oblique imagery available. If your address has only a top-down view, you can define the slope manually by clicking inside the roof shape and defining the slope from the sidebar. 

 Note: If the building you are designing on does not have a ridge, you can also set the way the panels face by defining the lowest edge to be a gutter.
