Solarport ground mount BOM calculator 🇬🇧

OpenSolar’s mounting calculator now supports Solarport’s ground mount system, making it easy to generate a full, dependable BOM in just seconds. Design faster with accurate calculations and fewer manual steps. 

How to use the integration 

1. Navigate to your project and select the Design tab
2. Add panels to your design. 
3. Navigate to the mounting tab
4. Select Ground in the Selected Mounting System Type dropdown
5. Select Solarport

5. Select Portrait configuration
   • For single rows of panels, select 1 in Portrait
   • For two rows of panels, select 2 in Portrait

6. Configure the system using our customisable dropdowns and inputs 
   • Post type: Single or Twin post
   • Relative tilt 
   • Foundation type: List of compatible anchors
   • Wind zone: Is fetched from our externally integrated server
   • Snow zone: Is fetched from our externally integrated server
   • Ground slope 
   • Array spacing 

Once the setup is complete, the hardware will be added to the mounting tab. You can review the automated BOM from the Bill of Materials tab:
