Summary:
On the 29th April 2025, OpenSolar will be releasing it's latest project management interface - designed to make your experiences smoother and more efficient. We know change is sometimes daunting, whilst we believe these changes will enhance your experience in OpenSolar - we have answered some questions you may have:
Do I have to do anything to switch to the new version?
No, we'll make the switch for you automatically on 29-April-2025.
What if I don't like the changes?
Whilst we would be sad to hear this, we understand you may want a little longer to transition to the new interface. You will have the ability to 'switch' back to the older version via settings and continue working in that setup. However, please note we will be totally sunsetting the old version at the end of July. We will remind you ahead of time of this event and will be on hand to provide any assistance you may require.
What will happen to my project workflow(s) and actions?
Nothing! They will remain configured in your organisations account and can be interacted with in new and improved ways with our new functionality.
I have custom forms in my projects, what will happen to those?
Custom forms will continue to be a part of your project with all the same fields and available and functioning as they were before.
I use your OpenAPI to connect my projects to a third party software, will this be impacted?
No. The changes do not impact any API sharing infrastructure already in place. Your processes will continue as they did before.
