The latest release brings new time-savings and sales features with UK early access to CashFlow, compliance updates for Selina financing options, and key performance and bug fixes to simplify your design and project management experience. Let’s dive in!

Highlights

CashFlow 

• 🇬🇧CashFlow is now available for early access in the UK! With this release, UK pros will be able to collect payments via OpenSolar, with integrated proposal checkout and automated invoicing. We’ve also enabled instant fund transfers from Homeowners to Installers.  Sign up for Early Access

Finance 

• 🇬🇧Ensure all Selina payment options are selected to be shown in proposals. To adhere to compliance standards, all available Selina products must be presented together. Now when you add or remove a Selina payment option to your project, the changes will take effect for all Selina products. Selina products referred to are the 10, 15, 20 & 25 year terms.  Learn more

• 🇬🇧Solaskirt - A new feature that allows Pros to add SolaSkirt to their designs easily! This solar panel protection and pigeon-proofing solution integrates seamlessly, automatically selecting the necessary components for each array in the system.

Racking Updates [🇬🇧only]

• Updated the Renusol VS+ defaults to have “Black” automatically selected for Rail Colour and Clamp Colour

Design Shop Experience Updates [🇬🇧only]

• Removed the “Hardware” list from the Summary tab on the Design Toolbar because the list is redundant. The RHS BOM was initially designed to replace this feature.
• Removed Segen’s cache pricing from appearing on the Component Selector if the organisation has no history of prior connections
• Fixed the loading screens for Component Selector, which showed 5 columns instead of 7
• Fixed the alignment issue where the manufacturer name was not the same height as the rest of the row, and the column headers were not left-aligned
• Expanded the Component Selectors width because it had previously caused some columns to be small, hiding important information such as price
• Fixed the “Show More” word padding around it on the LHS filter in Component Selector so that it does not look compressed

CashFlow

Enhancements

• Added weekly roundup email helping pro admin contacts, especially those who don’t always log into OpenSolar, to get a snapshot of their CashFlow invoices in progress on a weekly basis  
• Fixed issue where invoice reminders were not being sent as specified by the Pro in their configuration settings
• Improved surcharge calculations to handle more card types
• Improved payments tab mobile functionality by allowing invoice previews 
• Improve document upload UX for cashflow onboarding with BlueSnap
• Fixed email template placeholders to show the correctly filtered list
• Fixed issue where “Maintenance in Progress” messages were appearing in error

Finance 

• 🇺🇲Sunlight's new loan product, SunSaver, which includes an escalator option, is now available to be enabled in proposals

Other updates

• GetMapping
  • Pre-existing imagery will be available to all UK users for free
  • New 5cm high-resolution layers will be available through the Wallet for £3.99 per project
• ENA Integration - This feature allows UK pros to submit DNO applications directly through the Manage page.  Learn more 
• Mounting systems GmbH 5/41 rail option added to the mounting configurator (UK & DE)
• Polish in new Projects and Manage Page
  • Project filtering fixes
    • Fixed the filter and search term carryover between Projects and Manage pages
    • Ensured accurate display of filters and search terms in the URL
    • Improved ordering and sorting for easier navigation
    • Streamlined URLs by removing unnecessary parameters
  • Updated the styling of the PVF Scaffolding integration card
  • Removed bulk actions from the project list page
  • Adjusted the close icon placement in dialogues and modals
• Handled Sharing Permissions for Teams on the new Manage page
• Updated the implementation of the usable energy placeholder to support upgrades of existing systems

  Fixes

• Selina Finance Integration - Product fee now displays in all scenarios
• Fixed page scrolling performance after previewing/generating a document on the new Manage page
• Fixed the discrepancy between monthly and quarterly bill savings graphs on online proposals
• Strings now save to their saved state
