Download a Bill of Materials (BOM) [US &UK]

In OpenSolar, you can easily download a Bill of Materials (BOM) for one of your projects. 

Please note: The method to view and download the BOM is different in the UK and we'll start off covering that method in this article, before sharing how to accomplish this elsewhere in the World. 

To locate the Bill of Materials (BOM) in the UK, please follow these steps: 

Navigate to the Shop tab

Select Order by Project

Make sure to remove any filter

Use the search bar to locate the project

Click 'View BOM'

How to download the BOM:

To download your bill of Materials go to the project > Manage tab. From there scroll down to the integrations section and select “download BOM” under the ironridge integration:

Then select which system you would like to generate the BOM for, and which type of file you would like to download (PDF/CSV):

Take note of this message when you click download:

If the BOM does not automatically open, just refresh your browser, go into the Project > Manage tab and download the BOM from the file from the document section:
