In this video we'll show you how a customer will receive an invoice via email and complete the payment after the customer has made the initial deposit payment you'll see an updated status in the invoices section of the payment stash board here we can see the deposit is currently set to a status of pending if we'd like to send out the consecutive Milestone payment in this case for the installation Milestone we can navigate over to the actions button on the right hand side clicking action gives us the ability to send out the invoice via email after clicking send invoice a new popup appears giving us the ability to view and review the message that will go out to the customer in the invoice email this is going to pull from the cash flow configurations page but you do have the ability to adjust this for this specific Milestone payment email to send out this email simply click send invoice email and that will kick it out to the customer after you've sent the email out to the customer looking at the invoices section here and notice that the updated status of the installation Milestone is now recorded as sent this indicates the the email has gone out to the customer but a payment has not yet been made as a reminder if you'd like to configure email reminders to go out to the customer on a specific Cadence you can set that up in the cash flow configurations page we have a really great help center article that talks through how to set this up from the customers perspective this is the email they'll receive indicating they have an invoice to be paid here we see a message that summarizes the vendor name the invoice number the due date as well as the total payment amount for the specific Milestone you'll also see the customer has the ability to pull up a PDF of that specific invoice listing out the total payment amount to proceed with paying the invoice the customer simply needs to click pay invoice and that will pull them into a payments page on the screen we see we've given the customer the ability to pay via credit card as well as a debit for this specific Milestone if you'd like to restrict certain payment types or enable additional ones you can do so in the cash flow configurations page for today's example we're going to run through an a debit example after filling in their Bank information the customer then checks off the following box to authorize the payment and they can then sign to agree to the terms and conditions after the customer clicks pay it will then process the transaction with this message the customer confirms that the payment has been authorized and they will then receive an email receipt of the transaction within their email inbox the customer will receive the following email when that payment authorization has been confirmed here here we see a message detailing the payment amount in addition to a number of attachments here we have an A deit authorization in addition to a direct copy of the invoice for this specific Milestone payment if you have any additional questions on this future please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team Have a great rest of your day
